2010 Wrath Pinot Noir, Tondré Grapefield, Santa Lucia Highlands
This 2010 is a stunning Pinot Noir that manages to combine the animal and mineral aspects of the grape.
Each year we are impressed by the intensity and character of the fruit we harvest from Tondré Grapefield. This 2010 is a stunning Pinot Noir that manages to combine the animal and mineral aspects of the grape. The bouquet is wild and feral with layers of earth, root, forest floor, wet granite and cedar. The palate is supple, dense and luscious. This is one of those rare Pinots that pairs well with strong cheeses and wild game.

French oak- 45% new
Father Tondré and son Joe Alarid, both steeped in California’s agricultural history, founded Tondre Wines with the vision to produce a limited production, world-class Pinot Noir from their vineyard, Tondré Grapefield. Tondré Grapefield was planted in 1997 on six and half acres in the heart of the Santa Lucia Highlands appellation. It now has seven blocks for an accumulation of one hundred acres dedicated to Pinot Noir grape vines.
